Who doesn't love a bit of pampering? Whether it's a treat after a massive week at work or just simply a spoil yourself moment, a great facial can go a long way for your own wellness. I recently visited Little Company in Cremorne to try out one of their signature organic facials and boy, I left feeling like I was on cloud 9.

Tucked away down a side street, Little Company fits in perfectly amongst some of the trendiest creative businesses in the district. As you walk through the doors, the minimalist, natural style oozes sophistication and design cred, yet still promotes the feeling of complete comfort. I've sometimes found day spas to be a bit clinical in their approach but here it's completely the opposite, I was completely comfortable in their homely vibe.

I met with Stacey Burt, owner and facialist, who took me through what their signature facial, A Little Tailored, actually meant. "It's a custom blend of Sodashi, MV Organics, and O Cosmedics products which allow us to create a facial just for your skin, at every stage, treating a wide range of concerns," she said. I was ready to be seduced into absolute bliss!

The treatment room was warm and inviting, but the bed itself was just heavenly. Once I was tucked under the covers I immediately forgot about anything going on in the outside world and completely surrendered to the experience. Little Company only use products that they know have quality, organic ingredients, promoting the idea of "farm to face" and ensuring your biggest organ, the skin, is getting the best it deserves. With a wealth of beauty knowledge they offer treatments for relaxation purposes as well as to tackle specific ailments and skin conditions.

During my treatment, the products Stacey used smelt so yummy, most of which using some sort of antioxidant rich fruit. Some of the highlights included:

  • Pomegranate and papaya enzyme peel which contain natural fruit acids. Pomegranate enzyme and extracts offer a powerhouse of vitamins and nutrients wth antioxidant benefits that promote cell turnover.
  • MV Organics Signature Mask. A game changer when it comes to reducing redness and evening out skin tone, this soothing, strengthening and refining mask is a perfect skin pick-me-up.
  • Sodashi brightening mask. A revitalising and oxygenating face mask rich in phytonutrients and minerals, the zeolite and seaweed detoxify and re-energise the skin, whilst the synergy of plant essences effectively firm and tone.

The whole treatment took over an hour to complete and when it was over, I really didn't want to leave! The smells, the warmth, the soothing pressure of Stacey's hands on my face and neck, were all simply too good.

When I returned to the front desk to thank Stacey for the amazing experience, she greeted me with one last little surprise, a Winter Tonic (full of chilli, turmeric, ginger, garlic, horseradish and other magical ingredients) and a raw caramel cake both from Shoku Iku to really promote beauty from the inside out.

If you're in need of a treat or want to spoil someone else, I couldn't recommend Stacey and her team more highly. I'm sure you'll fall in love with the space and the experience just as much as I did!
